Nutrition During Pregnancy

Are you pregnant? Or looking to get pregnant? Studies show that eating a healthy, varied diet chock full of vegetables, fruit, whole grains, legumes, and lean protein while pregnant and breastfeeding can set your baby up to eat these healthy foods later in life. Subtle flavors from the food you eat are transmitted to your baby through amniotic fluid and breast milk. These hints of flavors lead the baby to preferring the foods you’ve eaten through pregnancy and breastfeeding. And it’s important for you to eat healthy too, Dad! A baby will notice the different foods you’re eating and will want to eat the same thing she sees you eating later in life! Set your baby up to eat a healthy, energizing diet by eating all of the foods you want her to eat!
