Looking for something new to spice up your veggies? If so, you’re not alone—most people are. Well, we’ve got just the answer and we’re obsessed! Coconut vinegar!

Coconut vinegar is actually very similar to apple cider vinegar and balsamic vinegar. It’s made from the sap in coconut trees called Tuba. It can often be used in place of other vinegars and is calorie-free–woohoo!

**Be sure that your coconut vinegar uses the sap, not the water of the coconut. Although we’ve never tried the coconut vinegar made with water, supposedly it doesn’t taste as good and doesn’t have all of the nutrients either.

Coconut Vinegar

We add coconut vinegar to salads and steamed veggies just as we would with balsamic vinegar or other vinegars. We love it so much that we often just add it on its own or spritz lemon or lime juice and olive oil from a spray jar and then pour a little coconut vinegar right on.

To give this new taste a twist with a new recipe, here’s a quick simple recipe you can use with veggies!
