Try this homemade trail mix that contains raisins, dried cranberries, almonds, Brazil nuts, and dark chocolate pieces for your own energy boost.
This trail mix is quick and easy to make and full of energy –revving nutrients. It’s got high fiber carbs for long-lasting energy and nutrients like potassium that helps to energize your muscles and that gives them the umph to contract.
Raisins and dried cranberries are great sources of vitamin C, which help to keep your body healthy. Almonds contain magnesium, a mineral that helps your body to produce energy. Brazil nuts have selenium which is another mineral that is high in antioxidants and helps to prevent you from getting sick so you can power through your day.
Plus, this snack has just the right combination of crunch with sweetness. Hello Energy-- and a tad of dark chocolate! Yes, dark chocolate! Dark chocolate contains powerful antioxidants as well as a natural, safe level of caffeine for that extra boost of energy! (And let’s face it, it’s pretty darn delicious!)
