Craving chocolate after dinner? Dying for a savory dessert? Well, we hear ya! We all too often feel the same way.

Since typical desserts are high in fat, saturated fat and calories. So, we’re always on the hunt for something that can satisfy our sweet tooth cravings without doing any damage to our health or waistlines.

Get ready; these desserts are delicious and nutritious!

Baby Tiramisu

What do I need?

  • 4 ounces of nonfat ricotta cheese
  • ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 12 lady fingers
  • 2 tablespoons of splenda or another sugar alternative
  • 2 tablespoons of melted dark chocolate
  • 4 tablespoons of brewed espresso or coffee

How do I make it?
First combine sugar, ricotta, vanilla, and cinnamon in a bowl. Spread out 6 lady fingers, drizzle two teaspoons of coffee over each one, then add the ricotta mixture. Place another lady finger on top and drizzle with melted chocolate. Delicious and easy!

“Cocoa-nut” Bananas

What do I need?

  • 2 small sliced bananas
  • 4 teaspoons of cocoa powder
  • 4 teaspoons of unsweetened coconut

How do I make it?
After placing cocoa and coconut on separate plates, roll each banana in cocoa and then dip in the coconut. Mmm!
