Clients always ask us about fast meals on the go for those days when they just don’t have time to make anything themselves.
We’re both fans of Amy’s Kitchen’s brand of natural and organic convenience foods, but it was with great delight that we recently discovered these two new pizzas, each containing half the fat of the original version.
Amy’s Light & Lean Italian Vegetable Pizza is topped with organic spinach, tomato sauce, artichoke hearts, mushrooms and low-fat cheese, weighing in at just 280 calories and 6 grams of fat; while the classic, Amy’s Light & Lean Cheese Pizza, is made with low-fat cheese, and has 270 calories and 6 grams of fat. These right-sized personal pizzas with great nutritional profiles have been dubbed “a dieter’s dream,” and we concur–it’s a great way to enjoy pizza without a lot of the calories and saturated fat that comes with it. Eat these without fear of falling into an Italian food coma that keeps you on the couch instead of out and about, with energy to spare.
