Strawberry-Banana Cream Poppers

If you’re still craving delicious goodies, post- Thanksgiving, you’re not alone! But don’t worry this delicious treat not only will quench a sweet tooth craving with a small amount of calories plus healthy antioxidants, nutrients and fiber, but it will give an energy boost to boot! And how can you resist these little strawberry- stuffed poppers?– they explode with flavor in your mouth.

The sweet strawberries and banana will rev your energy with vitamin-rich, healthy carbs and the creamy protein-filled Greek yogurt and almonds will extend the energy lift from the fruit. Not to mention, pop one of these cute things in your mouth and you’ll feel revived just from the fun of it!

Ingredients:

  • 8 strawberries
  • 2 oz. vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 small banana
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds

Directions:

  1. Mash the banana in a bowl with a fork. Mix in the yogurt.
  2. Using a knife, carve out the middle of each strawberry.
  3. Fill the center of each strawberry with the banana-yogurt mixture and top with sliced almonds.
