What’s round, small, and red and yummy? CRANBERRIES– another one of our favorite energy- filled, new and different winter foods!. Just the color alone brightens our day!

Cranberries are packed with phyto-nutrients which give them the ability to boost the body’s all-around wellness, leading to sustained energy!

Looking for a sweet treat? Try these Frosted Cranberries for a sweet treat. PS: Your kids will love them too!

Frosted Cranbrerries

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz of fresh cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1 tablespoon of pasteurized egg whites
  • 1 cup of sugar

Directions:
In a large bowl, mix together egg whites and water; do not whip. Coat cranberries with this mixture and roll cranberries in sugar. Dry at room temperature for two hours. Easy and delicious and a small handful will give you an antioxidant and energy boost without breaking the calorie bank!
