Frozen Cinnamon Yogurt covered Bananas:

These are truly the perfect, refreshing treat for summer! We especially love these because they are bite size! Only 64 calories for 6!

Serves 4:

Ingredients:

1 medium sized Banana

½ c. nonfat plain Greek yogurt

1 t. cinnamon

1 t. honey

2 T. almonds, sliced

Directions:

  1. Mix yogurt, cinnamon, and honey together in a small bowl.
  2. Toast almonds in a toaster oven or oven at 350F until lightly brown. Meanwhile, slice banana into coin-shaped slices about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Using a fork, stab a banana coin and dip it into the yogurt mixture. Using about 1 t. of yogurt to cover the entire banana. Place the banana coin on a piece of wax paper and add a few slices of almonds to the top.
  4. Once you have coated all banana slices, place the bananas in the freezer over night. Enjoy!
