Grape-FruitySpritzer

Being in New York City, we’re surrounded by nonstop opportunities to be social or to attend social events.  There’s definitely never a dull moment, although of course, in a social town, there is a lot of cocktail drinking, and our clients always want to know what they should make at home or order at a bar or restaurant that will do the least damage to their waistline. We actually have never been good at handling our alcohol (we get drunk practically from  sniffing the stuff!–and then aren’t the best company because we can laugh and have a good time on our own at that point, in corner, each by our lonesome, and despite it not ending badly that night we each are guaranteed to have a hangover the next day!–oy! :)).   So as you can imagine we don’t drink very often- well Tammy says she does occasionally, but when you pry, you’ll find out she had a sip at some New Year’s Party ten years ago…Lyssie, on occasion will take a sip of Frangellica…

But we still want to make sure you and our clients who handle their alcohol much better than we do ;), have some great lower calorie options.  And we always want to make sure that if you are good at handling your alcohol, that you remember to use some of our bloat-free smoothies (hello Morning Detox Shot Orange-Lime Sparkling Flusher and Kale Recharge Smoothie to name a few) that include certain foods that help the liver in it’s detoxification processes the next day!

After we shared some our waistline friendly cocktails, like our Skinny Orange Mangorita, our Cranberry Sparkle Spritzer and our Watermelon Fresca you told us how much you loved them and that you’d like more.  Thank you!! You have no idea how much it makes our day to hear from you and that you like the information and recipes we share (thanks so much for that!!).  Then we get super fired up and excited to give you more!  And we we’re so excited to make this Slim Sipper for you 🙂 !  Just remember to use some of these tips and read up on these calories in cocktails while you’re trying to keep fit and have a cocktail!  Please let us know what you think of this Slim Sipper in our comments below!

Our Fave Nutrient Boosting & Slimming Benefit & the real bonus of this drink?  It’s super low in calories compared to most fruity alcoholic drinks and that raspberries have the phytochemical C3G that may increase production of both adiponectin, which enhances fat metabolism, and leptin, which suppresses appetite. This is great as alcohol usually increases appetite so the raspberries may help to counter that.
