Berry Good For You: Raspberry Lemonade Water

You’ve asked us, and we’ve listened! You’ve requested ways to flavor your water without all of the calories and sugar that so many popular drinks have.  You loved our Skinny Strawberry OJ , Slimming Raspberry Mint Detox Spritzer and our Skinny Tea Lemonade (serve it up warm or cold!) so here’s another along those lines! Here’s an easy, breezy delish way to add flavor (and fiber!) to your water!  You can take it on the go in a water bottle, or sit back and relax with it like you’re at the spa!

Added bonus: Aside from raspberries powerful, anti-aging and disease-fighting phytonutrients, the fiber from the raspberries helps to keep you satisfied and tie you over until your next meal! Plus, raspberries have a fat-fighting phytonutrient in them—woohoo!

Berry Good For You: Raspberry Lemonade Water

 

Ingredients

32 oz water

3 lemon slices

½ cup frozen raspberries

Fresh mint sprigs (optional)

 

Directions

Simply wash and slice a  lemon. Add the raspberries to large water bottle or pitcher and squeeze the lemon slices on top of the raspberries.  Fill with water and add mint if desire. Put in the fridge and let sit for at least 2 hours and voila—you’ve got a refreshing, tasty drink!

 

For a fun and festive twist, you could use seltzer water rather than ordinary water.
